Goose Release Shenanigans Nite Club, Their First Full-Length in Five Years
The band's second studio LP arrives June 4 on Coincidence Records, nine tracks deep, ahead of a summer run that includes two nights at the Silver Lake Drive In in Perry.

Goose released Shenanigans Nite Club on June 4, 2021, the band’s second studio LP and its first full-length collection in more than five years. The record came out on /\o Coincidence Records with Secretly Distribution.
The album runs nine tracks and leaves the band’s long-form side intact on record. “The Labyrinth” closes it at 12:10, and “Madhuvan” runs 10:15.
Goose announced the album on March 24, 2021, led by the single “Spirit of the Dark Horse.” That announcement also carried a set of summer dates, including two nights in Western New York.

The track list is “So Ready,” “(s∆tellite),” “Madhuvan,” “SOS,” “(dawn),” “Flodown,” “Spirit Of The Dark Horse,” “(7hunder)” and “The Labyrinth.”
Around the album, the band also recorded a cover of Vampire Weekend’s “2021” that Ezra Koenig commissioned.
Two nights at a drive-in in Perry
The summer schedule announced with the album places Goose at the Silver Lake Drive In in Perry, New York, on June 15 and 16, 2021. Perry sits in Wyoming County.
The rest of the announced run: June 11 at Northlands in Swanzey, New Hampshire; June 12 and 13 at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut; June 18 and 19 at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio; and July 2 and 3 at The Pines Music Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Earlier 2021 dates were already listed as sold out, including May 3 and 4 in Frederick, Maryland, May 6 in North Charleston, South Carolina, and May 8 and 9 in Pelham, Tennessee.
Western New York’s outdoor calendar continues to refill through the rest of the year, with Borderland returning to Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora in September.
How the record was made
Shenanigans Nite Club was produced by Rick Mitarotonda, Kenny Cash and Peter Anspach, and engineered by Cash, Mitarotonda and Anspach. Kenny Cash mixed the album and Steve Fallone mastered it.
Recording took place at The Watchtower, Comstock and The Factory Underground Studios.
