The Macpodz at Summer Camp 2010

The Macpodz are a tried and tested band from Ann Arbor Michigan that bring a lot to the table for a jam band. And they don’t have a guitar player, either.

Brennan explained in an exclusive interview with BTJ that this puts them in a great position to be able to jam with some of the best guitar players around. This time it was Jake Cinninger from Umphrey’s Mcgee joining them on stage to jam. Video from the interview posted soon.

The heat was sweltering – the barricades too hot to touch. These guys drew a moderate crowd of people who all seemed to completely love their unique blend. We’re sure to see more collaboration, touring (they just got back from NYC) and hopefully a new album from the Macpodz soon.
