I was at this show with about 10 friends in the summer of 2006. I had camped out two days on the side of the road to get a good spot and it was well worth it!
The Fingerlakes Grassroots Festival is one of the best festivals in the nation. It has an extremely diverse lineup and one of the best vibes you can get at a festival. Nestled in the Fingerlakes region of Upstate NY it draws 15,000 fans each year and has donated tens of thousands of dollars to fighting AIDS since it’s inception in 1990. The festival is hosted by Donna The Buffalo.
This set featured Spearhead performing at the infield stage to a large crowd as the headliner on Saturday night. Michael Franti lays it down on this tight soundboard recording. If you you love reggae roots rock this is another must have for your collection.
