Preview: The Great Blue Heron Festival ’07

Just 4 more days untill I pack up the fam and we head down to the Great Blue Heron Music Festival in Sherman, NY. This is the 16th anual event hosted by jam band/old time music greats Donna The Buffalo.

This years lineup features two headlining shows by Donna The Buffalo with all night Buffalo Zydeco in the dance tent. The up and coming “grunge grass” The Avett Brothers will be performing for the 2nd year in a row.

Other artist performing include Entrain, Big Leg Emma, Jim Donovan (formely of Rusted Root) and some of the best zydeco in america – Buffalo Zydeco.
