Lansing Microbrew & Music Festival
The pop culture reference “If you build it, they will come” rings true when you’re talking about music and craft beers, and that’s exactly what happened when Porterhouse Productions brought their Tent Venue to Lansing Michigan. On the musical docket for Saturday(the only day I was able to attend) was Simplified, Eufoquestra, Chad Stokes(of Dispatch and State Radio), Dustbowl Revival, DJ Logic, and the headliner OAR. In addition to the musical lineup that occupied two stages there were nearly 40 beer vendors sampling their finest craft brews from Michigan and beyond.
While Michigan in April seems a gamble on the weather this Saturday couldn’t have been any more perfect to host an event. The sun high in the sky provided warm energy for all of the festival goers to enjoy beers while walking freely around the site. This was Porterhouse’s first festival appearance in Lansing, but they also host an annual music and brews fest in Traverse City, Michigan.
