Exclusive: O’death Live @ Mohawk Place 05.18.2008

img_0149.JPGO’death brought their Appalachian bluegrass to the Mohawk Place in Buffalo this past Sunday. This quintet from NYC was rockin the place with it’s own version of bluegrass that’s meant to be moshed to. I heard these guys on the Mountain Jam Festival website and was stoked to see that they were coming to Buffalo to jam out. This set includes new material off their yet to be released album coming out this year.

The guys really get into their show with synchronized head banging and lots of energy onstage. At one point violinist Bob Pycior was playing with such fevor I thought his head was going to fly off his shoulders. They also have exceptional song writing skills with great story lines. If you dig any type of new grass you must check these guys out.

I’m proud to say this is the first live show of o’death to be in circulation online. This is my first time taping and I recorded the show with an Olympus LS-10. enjoy!
