MANCHESTER, TN – Bonnaroo is celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary this year and has just announced their 2011 lineup.
This appears to be the least jam centric lineup to date. The festival has really gotten away from it’s roots 10 years ago where it featured the best jam bands in the country.
Widespread Panic returns to headline the festival after a 2 year absence. Other jam band artists include Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, The Warren Haynes Band, Mumford & Sons, & String Cheese Incident.
The lineup also includes a performance by Buffalo Springfield, featuring original members Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay.
This year will see the return of Superjam and will feature a one-time collaborative performance featuring Dan Auerbach and Dr. John.
The festival takes place in Manchester, TN June 9th-12th 2011. Tickets go on sale February 19th. Scroll down for complete artist list.
