35th anniversary season this summer in Lewiston, NY. Free concerts start at 6pm. One of the best venue’s in WNY. Looking forward to seeing Blue Oyster Cult, The Machine, Railroad Earth, and Galactic.

All “Tuesday in the Park” events will begin at 6:30 p.m.
“Wednesdays on the Gorge,” Artpark’s free Wednesday night series, takes on a binational flair in 2009. Here are this year’s acts:
July 15 – Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
July 22 – Tinsley Ellis/The Nighthawks
July 29 – The Trews
Aug. 5 – Railroad Earth
Aug. 12 – Sloan
Aug. 19 – Celtic Night, featuring Scythian and Black 47
Aug. 26 – Galactic
Aside from the two popular free concert series, Artpark’s season also includes an 11-day stretch of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” from Aug. 13 to 23.
The venue will also play host to the 2009 Big Band Series, which features a June 22 performance by the Toronto All-Star Big Band, and two shows July 20 by the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will play nine concerts from July 11 to Aug. 2.

8 p.m. July 11 – Joined by the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus and soloists performing Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana”
3 p.m. July 12 – Broadway Rocks
2:30 p.m. July 17 and 8 p.m. July 18 – Peking Acrobats
8 p.m. July 25 – Opera’s Greatest Hits
3 p.m. July 26 – Marco Santor, 2008 winner of the JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition joins the BPO to perform Joaquin Rodrigo’s “Concierto de Aranjuez”
8 p.m. July 31 – Video Games Live
8 p.m. Aug. 1 – Russian Romantics
3 p.m. Aug. 2 – Music from the Silver Screen
