Slightly Stoopid: Living in the Moment. Slightly Stoopid is a reggae band based out of Ocean Beach, California. They are known for their energetic live shows and for having a devoted fan base. Drummer Ryan “RyMo” Moran recently wrote in to discuss his favorite drummers. BTJ: How old were you when you first started playing drums? While cruising Giant Panda Guerila Dub Squad’s website a few months ago we saw they were touring with a band from California called Rebelution. We checked out their website and were immediately impressed with their unique fusion of reggae and rock made popular by Sublime in the 90′s. Slightly Stoopid made a stop in Buffalo this past Sunday and gave their fans a show to remember. Even though it was a Sunday night you couldn’t tell from the screaming throngs of fans that packed the venue. The band describes their music as “a fusion of acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop, and punk.” You can expect all of that and more at a Slightly Stoopid show.
