The Dead is going on tour and The Grateful Dead Channel on Sirius XM will be broadcasting some of the shows. If you can’t get a ticket, you’ll be able to catch some of the shows on Sirius XM’s Grateful Dead Channel 32. The first live broadcast will be The Dead’s show at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA on Saturday, April 18. As I long time Sirius subscriber I highly recommended picking up at least a web subscription. If you have a little more coin they sell some great boomboxes and in car stereo’s as well. On The Grateful Dead Channel, exclusively on SIRIUS, you’ll hear music spanning the band’s career with unreleased concert...

The surviving members of The Grateful Dead will be performing a series of shows this spring starting with an April 12th show in Greensborough, NC. From the Official Grateful Dead website. The lineup for this edition of The Dead will be the same one that rocked the house at Penn State last fall at the Obama benefit: The Core Four of Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, joined by guitar monster Warren Haynes and RatDog keyboard ace Jeff Chimenti (both veterans of the 2004 Dead “Wave That Flag” tour). The mood of the band for this Spring Fling is way up, so it’s sure to be a great tour! Ticket presale starts...
