Progressive reggae band John Brown’s Body kicks off a west coast tour with Galactic this Friday in Seattle, WA. The run concludes with a two-night stint at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA. JBB will share the stage with New Zealand’s Katchafire April 8 & 9 in Colorado. They’ll be celebrating 4/20 in NYC with Easy Star All-Stars at the Highline Ballroom. John Brown’s Body began 2011 with a sold-out Colorado run. In the past two years, they’ve completed first-ever tours of the UK, New Zealand, and Europe. Two of the best bands in country are teaming up for 13 dates for  one of the most anticipated co-headling tours of 2010. I had a chance to catch up with Kevin Kinsella recently and he has some great news. First he has just announced dates in California with John Browns Body. This will be Kevin’s first appearance with his former love since leaving the band in 2006.
