Grassroots 2008 Lineup!
Grassroots in Trumansburgh, NY is one of my favorite festivals of the year. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the lineup announcement since purchasing our 4 day festival and camping passes a couple of months ago. The festival will be headlined by Donna The Buffalo, Lucinda Williams, & Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Other performers include reggae pioneers John Brown’s Body who perform to massive crowds in their home town. I’m also looking forward to see The Hackensaw Boys, Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, and up and coming newgrass greats Big Leg Emma who I’ve been following for years at the Great Blue Heron festival. Here’s another reason why the Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg, NY is one of the top 10 festivals in the country. Natives of Ithaca, NY they have been touring for almost 20 years and host 3 festivals a year, 2 in Shakori Hills and the Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival in Trumansbugh, NY.
