Presenting the second Mile High Music Festival. For two days, music superstars will descend upon the Denver area, blanketing the Rocky Mountain landscape with great music. G. Love & Special Sauce Live @ Town Ballroom 01.23.2008
Last Wednesday was another great night for the Buffalo jam band scene. The Town Ballroom was jam packed for Philly’s own G Love and the Special Sauce. They played for more than two hours laying it down with the best blend of blues, funk, and hip hop I’ve heard. This is my 4th time seeing G. Love and the band gets better every time I see them. G. Love opened with “Back of the Bus” and had The Wood Brothers (who opened) sit in on “Walk On The Wild Side” which was sick with the brothers laying down deep bass licks throughout the song.
