Artpark Free Concert Series 2011 Lineup
LEWISTON, NY – Artpark (the best venue in WNY!) has done it again with another great lineup for their free concert series starting June 29th, 2011 with BTJ favorites Umphrey’s McGee. We’re also looking forward to seeing moe., Gregg Alman, The Machine, and more! Shows are free to public but parking is $10 per car. All shows start at 6:30pm. New this year is the option to purchase a $25 standing room only ticket that will give you special access to the pit and a preferred parking spot. The band wowed the crowd in Lewiston with 2 incredible sets. As the sun set on the niagara gorge the fans were treated to an amazing laser show.                The Machine a Pink Floyd cover band took stage about 7:15, with a full crowd in attendance Tuesday Night @ Artpark The Machine started the first set with “The Wall” and work their way through many of the favorites of Pink Floyd and ended the first set with “Have a Cigar”.                By time they started the second set the crowd very energetic and lively first it was  ”Breathe” and “Time” and then back into “Breathe”. It was like going to church when Joe Pascarell lead the crowd into singing “Wish you were here” and “Another Brick in the Wall†for the encore The Machine ended the show with “Comfortably Numb”. There was a laser and light…

LEWISTON, NY – Donna The Buffalo is probably the band that I’ve seen the most over the past several years that I’ve been going to shows. We see them multiple times each year at Blue Heron Festival and the Grassroots Festival. Every time out is a good show. I especially like the one’s in Western New York because the ‘Herd has a great showing and it’s a chance to catch up with friends that I don’t see every day. This was the smallest turn out of any show that I’ve been to at Art Park this summer but it made it even better. The entire ‘herd was dancing and swaying the night away as DTB…

This was my second time seeing moe. and they blew me away. Art Park in Lewiston is by far my favorite venue for live shows in WNY. moe. knows how to headline a show playing for a total of over 3 hours. This set includes a sick 27 minute Brent Black as well as a mind blowing Plane Crash at the end of the second set. Get out and see these guys while you can.
