bring slightly stoopid…stop w/ all the hippy crap and bring them…they have the perfect summer reggae vibe

  5. justincc says:

slightly stoopid sucks anywhere other than in cd form. they cant handle the live.

bring back MMW and Umphreys in one uber night

  15. shemra says:

I don't think the biscuits will be playing the square this summer, barber has a broken wrist and will probably be out till camp. They should try to get Lotus to play or Big Gigantic.

  16. Jesse says:

Sorry Stoopid rocks! I've been with this wave since 97' and they bring it every time. Much Respect to all, peace

  17. kissmeimsh*tfaced716 says:

ok forget the other bands, everyone knows that the dropkick murphys killed it a few years ago so BRING THEM BACK!

  18. gustifer says:

zappa plays zappa is playing gig w/ cover charge somewhere already, so they probably wont be at the square…and the umphreys and mmw last year was a little misleading on the ticket, we all thought mmw was the headliner, so i missed the first 45min of their set, that was upsetting…idont know if i want to listen to umphreys or any other jamband play 2 hrs of scale running this summer. ive heard enough

  19. Sally Salzer says:

    Ingrid Michaelson June 17th!!!

  20. Alex says:

Bring some different bands! Stop with bringing back the same bands over and over again. It get's old! VARIETY!!!

  21. james inman says:

It would be nice if they would book the engagements a little earlier. Lockport shows are set, and so is Artpark. Get with it and get these engagements set. Thursday at the square is going the wrong way unfortunately. Whoever, is managing this is not doing a good job, last year was the worst year ever for the series. WAKE UP AND GET WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. Joe says:

they suck live, played shitty punk style music and smoked a fake blunt.

  23. Grace says:

Definitely agree! I went all the way down there to see her, and then they announced the show was cancelled. Boooo.

  24. Erik says:

you've obviously never seen stoopid live then you hippy douchebag…they're incredible live…they never play the same set…and way to try to be hip by using the word uber…that's uber lame.

  25. Erik says:

    a fake blunt…wow…what a moron…god i hate hippies.

  26. sleepnmnky says:

i've seen stoopid live & they blow live. saw them play with a bunch of punk bands & they tried to be all bad ass & SUCKED! playing with cypress hill will hopefully be a good one for them, if they're playing to that audience & stick with that genre they should be ok.

  27. Webb says:

According to Pollstar looks like 6/10 – Alejandro Escovedo

  28. CHRISTAIN SLATER says:

ONCE AGAIN BUFFALOS THURSDAY AT THE SQUARE FAILS TO ATTRACT THE NATIVES WITH ANY REAL BANDS THAT WE COULD ALL SING ALONG WITH , WAY TO GO GUYS NOT !!! JUST ANOTHER YEAR OF LAME BANDS , WHAT HAPPEN TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS ? IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE BEER WHO WOULD EVEN SHOW UP TO THIS NOW APPERENT DRAGGED OUT SERIES . HAPPY 24TH YEAR THURSDAY AT THE SQUARE BUT YOU NEED IMPROVMENT. BANDS THAT JAM HAHAHA FUNNY

  29. forget it says:

cheap a$$ ba$tard$. none of these bands charge more than 3 thou. totally uninventive–no BRING IT attitude. just like this state, lame-o. time to hit the ground running. any hope in tonawanda? one word fer ya artvoice—-SQUARE—-

  30. me and harpua says:

When I Go to the concert I want to hear the band sing. I dont want to listen to a bunch of drunk tools with thier hats on backwards murder the lyrics……jackass!!!!!!!!!!!

  31. lex says:

wth has happen to Thursday in the Square, this line up is pretty blah, looks like Lockport has it going on this year

  32. Joe M says:

has anyone heard of chylde? they are a pretty sick psychedelic/metal and are homegrown why havent they tried to get them in at the square?

  33. elvis died on the toilet says:

wow what a dissapoining line up this year tift merrit is the only artist i think im gonna see this year lockport is the place to be this summer and only 5 minutes walking distance bring on big sugar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  34. elvis died on the toilet says:

wow what a dissapoining line up this year tift merrit is the only artist i think im gonna see this year lockport is the place to be this summer and only 5 minutes walking distance bring on big sugar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  35. Larry M says:

Thursday at the Square has really gone downhill. Artparks lineup is much better and its a nicer venue.

  36. zedhead says:

GO FUCK YOURSELF, THIS IS WHAT THEY CALL FREEEEE!!!!!!!
YES IT MAY NOT BE THE GREATEST LINEUP, BUT WERE OUR YOU GOING TO SEE THESE ACTS FOR FEEEEEEEEEE!!!
MY GRANDFATHER TOLDED ME ONCE “DON'T BITCH ABOUT SOMETHING OTHERS MIGHT HAVE TO PAY FOR”

  37. me says:

rougue wave is solid the rest pretty much sucks balls any way you slice.

  38. Your Mom says:

I wonder how many times I'll have to hear Hit N Run this summer. I'm so sick of hearing the same cover songs over & over again. Well, that's what a typical Western New Yorker likes hear. The same crap every day.

  39. DADDY TEE says:

HOW DOO DOO IS THIS EVENT GOING TO GET??? AFTER GEORGE CLINTON LAST YEAR YOU BRING IN HERBIE HANCOCK ARE U SERIOUS??? THATS WHY BLACK FOLKS DONT SUPPORT THIS CRAP!!!!! GET SUM REAL GROUPS HECK ILL COME SEE DOLLY PARTON FASTER THAN THIS GARBAGE!!!!!!

  40. Nick says:

I agree,,, shows were going on until september now they shortened it. You know what,,, rope it off and charge 1 buck,,, who doesn't have a buck… comon… and lower the cost at the waterfront…
The guy who does these things for Buffalo really does a bad job,,,
They just are not getting the people to come downtown that they could have if they would add more events…put some local bands up there that play for 200 bucks…
    use some creativity people… thats buffalo's problem…
    no marketing skill whatsoever..

  41. tired of the drama says:

i think everyone needs to stop complaining. Put on your own concert series if this line up isnt good enough for you. A free concert is a free concert…. If u dont like the music go buy tickets to see some other band play at Darien lake or something and shut the h*** up! i mean ya the line ups are getting old, and we hear the same thing, but honestly… Who gives a %&*@ its something FREE to do on a damn THURSDAY!!!

  42. BUFFALOSOLDIER says:

It would nice to see some local band at least opening..There are a lot of great local bands.

  43. mmwlvr says:

Herbie Hancock is a god, and anyone who knows good music will be at that show…. which means it won't be a crowded show for us!

  44. Linda LaVigne says:

Linda It about time you got Buffalo best jazz man Will Holton can't wait August 12,

  45. Jesusistheman420 says:

the only thing worth seeing on here is… umphrey's.

  46. Jesusistheman420 says:
