Gallery: Bonnaroo 2009 | Day 1
Fans from across the country converged on Manchester TN today for the first day of the Bonnnaroo Music Festival. The fans were greeted by long lines getting into the venue. Some campers who showed up mid day Friday found them selves waiting in line for as long as their car drive was – in some cases up to five hours.
Tent campers had a chance to test out their rain gear when torrential downpours came through around noon with hail and high winds.
Some festival goers made out better than others. One poor fan had this to say via Twitter: “Drove 780 miles to bonnaroo, spent a grand, waited in car line for 4 hours… Forgot tickets” ouch that’s got to hurt!
