Slightly Stoopid made a stop in Buffalo this past Sunday and gave their fans a show to remember. Even though it was a Sunday night you couldn’t tell from the screaming throngs of fans that packed the venue.
The band describes their music as “a fusion of acoustic rock and blues with reggae, hip-hop, and punk.” You can expect all of that and more at a Slightly Stoopid show. The band puts on a high energy performance seamlessly changing up from intense reggae beats, high energy punk, to soulful hip hop.

The band is Miles Doughty (Guitar, Bass, Vocals) Kyle McDonald (Guitar, Bass, Vocals) Ryan Moran (RyMo) (drums)Oguer (OG) Ocon (Congas, Percussion, Harp, Vocals), DeLa (Saxophone) C-Money (Trumpet, Keyboard) They’ve been touring since 1996 when they were one of the first bands signed on Sublime’s Skunk Records while they were still in high school.
12 years later the band is firing on all cylinders. I was really impressed with the bands broad range of music. The Buffalo fans at the Town Ballroom were rabid, moshing and crowd surfing through out the night.
C-Money has collaborated on projects with John Brown’s Body and 10 Foot Ganja Plant. You can expect to see Kyle McDonald featured on the new 10 ft. Ganja Plant album Bush Rock to be released later this year.
The natives of Ocean Beach, Sand Diego, California are in the middle of an east coast tour that sees them traveling from Connecticut to Florida.
