Artpark Free Concert Series 2011 Lineup
LEWISTON, NY – Artpark (the best venue in WNY!) has done it again with another great lineup for their free concert series starting June 29th, 2011 with BTJ favorites Umphrey’s McGee. We’re also looking forward to seeing moe., Gregg Alman, The Machine, and more! Shows are free to public but parking is $10 per car. All shows start at 6:30pm. New this year is the option to purchase a $25 standing room only ticket that will give you special access to the pit and a preferred parking spot. This past Thursday night moe. was inducted into the Buffalo Hall of Fame. The band who hails from upstate NY considers Buffalo a 2nd home and was delighted to return to their old stomping grounds for a sold out crowd. UB is where the band first started back in the early 90′s and they have had an incredible following here throughout the years. Friday nights show was epic with classics such as Tailspin & Captain America. moe. has just announced tour dates for 2009. After taking the winter off these staples of the jam band scene are back on the road. We’re hoping to see a stop in Buffalo announced soon. This was my second time seeing moe. and they blew me away. Art Park in Lewiston is by far my favorite venue for live shows in WNY. moe. knows how to headline a show playing for a total of over 3 hours. This set includes a sick 27 minute Brent Black as well as a mind blowing Plane Crash at the end of the second set. Get out and see these guys while you can. Artpark Lineup 2008
Artpark in Lewiston, NY features the best venue in WNY for free concerts. Its located in the gorge of the Niagara River just below Niagara Falls. The best part about these Tuesday and Wednesday concerts is they are FREE! I’m looking forward to seeing jam greats Gov’t Mule, moe., Dickey Betts & The Great Southern, and Donna The Buffalo.
