Dark Star Orchestra is one of the best Grateful Dead cover bands on tour today. This band tours around the country re-playing entire Grateful Dead shows.They have been touring since 1997 and have been joined on stage by Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, Vince Welnick, Tom Constanten, Steve Kimock, Rob Barraco, Jon Fishman, Jorma Kaukonen and many others. The band uses as close to the Dead’s original equipment as they can so they can reproduce the sound of the shows they are emulating.
