Gallery: U-Melt 10.03.09 Nietzsche’s Buffalo, NY
U-Melt took to Nietzsche’s stage around 11PM, playing until the wee hours and allowing for some of those attending Mike Gordon’s show earlier to make their way for a very full night of jamming at its best. Even Mikeand his band members were seen taking in the “organic progressive groove” that U-Melt was laying down. These guys are in their 6th year together and have developed an incredibly focused sound, transitioning genres with a smooth loose feel that never feels forced.
They’ll be ruling the late-night again in Albany this Halloween post-moe., and their next stop in WNY puts them in Rochester this November on Saturday the 13th. If you missed the face melting in Buffalo, don’t pass on the second chance coming up!
