Over the past year since Bands That Jam has been online we’ve worked day and night (okay well maybe not day night but at least a few days a week) to bring you free legal downloads of great bands that jam. Of all the bands The Black Keys have been the band that I have been listening to the most over the past couple of months. I’ve been waiting for a really good set and recording to feature them here on our site. Well folks that time has come.

Just a few weeks ago The Black Keys played to a raucous crowd the famed 930 Club in D.C. For those of you have heard of these guys before they need no introduction just make the jump and grab the torrent. For those of you have yet to hear these guys get down check out the samples and hear for your self.

The duo has an incredible blues-rock sound that hasn’t been heard since Led Zeppelin brought their sound across the Atlantic. The band consist of Dan Aurebach (vocals and guitar) and Patrick Carney (drums and percussion.) They guys hail from Akron, Ohio and have released 5 albums their latest being Attack & Release from Nonesuch Records.
