Exclusive: YMSB – Buffalo Video
Yesterday was awesome. YMSB came on as the opener for the 21st Thursday In The Square free concert series in Buffalo, NY. YMSB loves playing this venue and repeatedly told the fans how grateful they were that we came out early and withstood the rain to watch them perform. As usual the crowd was really into the bands high energy bluegrass with everyone dancing and singing along.
Sirius to Preview “Grateful Dead Radio” Aug. 1-9
Sirius announced earlier this summer that they will be creating a radio station dedicated to the Grateful Dead. The channel will feature live recordings of the bands shows as well as interviews with the band members and others from the scene that started it all. Starting August 1rst you can tune in to Sirius 17 JamOn to hear a preview of what this station will sound like. Regular programming on JamOn will return on August 9th. Phil Lesh Announces Fall Tour
Phil Lesh & Friends has announced a fall tour that will include singer-songwriter Jackie Greene, guitarist Larry Campbell, drummer John Molo, and Particle keyboardist Steve Molitz. The tour starts on 9/22 in Santa Barbara, CA and ends with a 9 night run in NYC at Nokia Theatre in Times Square. Thursday In The Square in Buffalo continued its best ever jam band lineup last night with “An Evening With moe.” moe. came on at 5:30 to delight of thousands of fans for a homecoming show. This Buffalo based band was glad to be home in the city were they started in 1990. 17 years later they have established them selves as one the touring jam bands bands on the scene. Gov’t Mule kicked off another week in Europe last Thursday and Friday in Madrid and Barcelona. Tonight they kick off the first of two nights in Warsaw, Poland before rolling on through Stuttgart, Germany (July 11th), Amsterdam, Holland (July 12th), London, U.K., (July 14th) and Peer, Belgium (July 15th).
